Omninav helps people deliver the energy transition using technologies, including AI, to help people work faster and better. So how is that different from other AI providers?
Yes, there are super-massive companies absorbing all the AI talent and technologies, and they provide useful services. But these big platforms like ChatGPT are powerful, but they aren't reliable. And because they aren't reliable, they aren't trustworthy. Our community of users delivering energy transition projects curate OmniNav's information to ensure quality sources of information, and expert human-in-the-loop feedback.
But they are training massive corpii (i.e. lots of text data from various sources) which means the generalise well.
But as one of our clients said recently "AI is evil!". We empathise with that. AI presents opportunities, and risks. We need to understand these new tools, and deploy them responsibly. When something is unfamiliar, we get anxious. But just like humans became familiar with cars instead of horses, we will learn to live and learn from AI.
That's why we work with our clients to understand these risks before we implement our platform. Often, our clients just haven't thought through the risks, articulated them, considered the causes and consequences. When you have done that, things don't seem so evil or risky.
